My apologies for not writing sooner, writing itself has been difficult lately. The week after my last post, my mother arrived and I spent the week with her. Everything was great. Then one day at work soon after that, I had to do a metric ton of typing, and an old injury of my flared up again: Tennis Elbow. The impact of typing on keys shoots pain from my wrist to my elbow. The pain since the initial injury five years ago has been minimal (and I wear a wrist brace pretty much constantly), something I can work through despite a constant background throb, but with this recent flare up, I’m doing whatever possible to not type. I’m currently in occupational therapy, and on a workout, medication, and icing/heating regiment. Hopefully I’ll get the strength back in my arms I’ve been lacking, but until the pain dies back down to manageable levels, story writing is going to have to take a backseat to getting better. I’m so sorry for those waiting for the next chapter, please accept my heartfelt apology.
I’m currently looking into alternatives such as Dragon Naturally Speaking and similar talk-to-type programs. We’ll see what happens. Hopefully, I’ll see you all soon.
